Tourist arrivals

The number of tourist arrivals for the first quarter of 2020 decreased by 13.5% to attain 304,842 compared to 352,305 for the first quarter of 2019.
2.
Tourist arrivals by air decreased by 16.2% from 328,764 in the first quarter of 2019 to 275,418 in the first quarter of 2020 while those arriving by sea increased by 25.0% from 23,541 to 29,424.
3.
The performance of our main markets, which accounted for 68% of total tourist arrivals for the first quarter of 2020, is given in the table below:
