Construction Price Index, 4th Quarter 2025
Highlights

1. The Construction Price Index which stood at 147.4 in the third quarter of 2025 increased by 0.1% to reach 147.6 in the fourth quarter of 2025.

2. The increase of 0.1% in the Construction Price Index is explained by:

(i) higher rates for the hire of plant (2.5%) and increase in prices of plumbing (0.2%), partly offset by decreases in the prices of timber joinery (-0.2%) and sanitary installation (-1.0%) in October 2025; -

(ii) increase in the prices of premixed mortar (0.6%), partly offset by decreases in the prices of steel bars (-1.2%) and, tiles and granite (-0.2%) in November 2025.
