Tourist arrivals

      The number of tourist arrivals increased from 179,780 in the year 2021 to 997,290 in the year 2022.

2.  Tourist arrivals by air increased from 178,733 in the year 2021 to 990,099 in the year 2022 while those arriving by sea increased from 1,047 to 7,191. ​

3.  The performance of our usual main markets, accounted for 71% of total tourist arrivals in the year 2022 same as in the year 2021.  Comparative figures for the years 2021 and 2022 are given in the table below:
