Tourist arrivals
1. The number of tourist arrivals increased by 1.5% from 658,909 in the first semester of 2025 to 668,471 in the first semester of 2026.
2. Tourist arrivals by air increased by 0.2% from 643,930 in the first semester of 2025 to 645,140 in the first semester of 2026 while those arriving by sea increased by 55.8% from 14,979 to 23,331.
3. The performance of our usual main markets, accounted for 67.4% of total tourist arrivals in the first semester of 2026 compared to 67.6% in the first semester of 2025. Comparative figures for first semester 2025 and first semester 2026 are given in the table below:
