1. Monthly index
Overall index

- PPI-A, which was 96.2 in March 2026, has decreased by 2.3% to reach 94.0 in June 2026. The monthly changes were as follows: April (-1.0%), May (-1.7%) and June (+0.4%).
Sugar cane
- The index for the period January to June 2026 was 90.5 based on the final price of sugar for the crop year 2025-2026. This represents a decrease of 12.3% over the price of sugar for the crop year 2024-2025.
Other crop products

- The index for "Other crop products" which was 94.8 in March 2026, has decreased by 8.1% to reach 87.1 in June 2026, mainly due to a decrease of 8.9% in the prices of “fresh vegetables" such as carrot (-54.6%), creepers (-12.9%) and some other fresh vegetables (-2.6%). Additionally, a decrease of 6.3% in the prices of “fruits and nuts" such as pineapple (-20.4%) was noted.
Animals and animal products
- The index for the sub-group "Animals and animal products" which was 100.0 in March 2026, has increased by 2.3% to reach 102.3 in June 2026, due to increases in the prices of poultry (+1.9%), eggs (+6.0%), cattle (+6.0%) and milk (+8.6%). -
2. Quarterly Index
- The overall index decreased by 2.6% from 96.7 in the first quarter of 2026 to 94.2 in the second quarter of 2026.
