Statistics Mauritius (SM) in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) hosted a workshop at Cocotiers Hotel, Anse aux Anglais in Rodrigues on Thursday 24 November 2022 to present the salient features of the 2022 Housing and Population Census (HPC) undertaken in May and July 2022 pertaining to Rodrigues Island.

Among the guests at the event, were present the UNFPA Head of Office for Mauritius and Seychelles, the Strategic Information Specialist from UNFPA, the Chief Commissioner of Rodrigues, members of the Rodrigues Regional Assembly and representatives of the Central Administration and government institutions, the private sector, the Chairperson of the Statistics Board, the Ag Director and some officers from Statistics Mauritius as well as the media.
