Tourist arrivals
The number of tourist arrivals increased by 3.7% from 971,800 in the first nine months of 2024 to 1,008,098 in the first nine months of 2025.
2. Tourist arrivals by air increased by 4.5% from 949,481 in the first nine months of 2024 to 991,793 in the first nine months of 2025 while those arriving by sea decreased by 26.9% from 22,319 to 16,305.
3. The performance of our usual main markets, accounted for 67.6% of total tourist arrivals in the first nine months of 2025 compared to 68.3% in the first nine months of 2024. Comparative figures for first nine months 2024 and first nine months 2025 are given in the table below:
