Tourist arrivals​

The number of tourist arrivals increased from 638,332 in the first nine months of 2022 to 901,126 in the first nine months of 2023.

2.  Tourist arrivals by air increased from 636,176 in the first nine months of 2022 to 892,633 in the first nine months of 2023 while those arriving by sea increased from 2,156 to 8,493.

3.  The performance of our usual main markets, accounted for 69% of total tourist arrivals in the first nine months of 2023 compared to 71% in the first nine months of 2022.  Comparative figures for first nine months of 2022 and first nine months of 2023 are given in the table below:
