Highlights
Tourist arrivals
The number of tourist arrivals increased by 6.8% from 326,389 in the first quarter of 2025 to 348,445 in the first quarter of 2026.
2. Tourist arrivals by air increased by 5.1% from 316,604 in the first quarter of 2025 to 332,632 in the first quarter of 2026 while those arriving by sea increased by 61.6% from 9,785 to 15,813.
3. The performance of our usual main markets, accounted for 66.5% of total tourist arrivals in the first quarter of 2026 compared to 66.1% in the first quarter of 2025. Comparative figures for first quarter 2025 and first quarter 2026 are given in the table below:
