1. The Construction Price Index, which stood at 111.1 at the end of September 2013, increased by 0.4 % or 0.4 point during the fourth quarter of 2013 to reach 111.5 in December 2013.
2. On a monthly basis, the index increased of 0.1% in October, remained unchanged in November and registered an increase of 0.2% in December 2013.
3. In October 2013, the index increased to 111.2 following increases of 1.1% in the prices of electrical installation, 1.5% in the prices of paint and 0.2% in the prices of timber carpentry. In November 2013, the index remained at 111.2 as a result of an increase of 1.3% in the prices of paint partly offset by a decrease of 0.2% in the prices of sanitary installation. In December 2013, the index reached 111.5 following increases of 4.0% in the prices of block, 0.5% in the prices of paint and 0.3% in the prices of sanitary installation.
4. During the fourth quarter of 2013 no change was registered in the “Labour”, “Hire of plant” and “Transport” sub-indices.
